Return.
Revisit.
Re-align yourself with innocence.
Smile.
Laugh.
Rejoice that you are alive.
Love.
Care.
Give kindness to yourself and those around you.
Respect.
Rejuvenate.
Lend strength to new ideas that promote happiness.
Forgive.
Remove.
Relinquish hate in your heart for your enemies.
Clear.
Expand.
Open your mind to the simplicity of life.
Question.
Examine.
Discuss ways to create harmony with others.
Understand.
Accept.
Listen to others with an open mind and heart.
Re-align, Rejoice, give, lend, relinquish, open, discuss, listen, and
Return to innocence.

I sit a top your peak
Looking out to the sister peaks.
Carvings created over time.
Force, gentle, monumental.
La luna peers down and lights the path.
Gazed upon a cross emanates into an infinite web.
Opening into your essence,
The thousand petal lotus blossoms and surrounds your beauty.
Beams of light display the path in sweet shadows and united curves
You give way from the sharp blazin path true and fast in the solar light.
I bow to your beauty, the grace, your ever elusiveness.
Sister spirit, sister soul, I honor your blessings.

VULTURES
By: April Rameé circa 2006
Warm sun on the skin.
Pigments darken as the warmth pours through the body down to the heart.
Cool gentle breeze runs through the hair.
Releasing a scent;
leisurely escaping into the already intoxicating, luxurious smell of the earth.
Brown eyes glaze over;
attempting to internally burn the image of beauty into the mind.
Fingers grip the base,
Thorns puncturing; as the warm blood emerges to the surface, trickling.
Saliva builds and taste buds inflame;
finger to tongue flavors of salt and sweetness.
Soft petals rise to even softer delicate lips; caressing.
Touch and smell beyond ecstasy,
entrancing the mind and the libido to past memories and blissfulness.
Head back an orgasmic breath liberates out of slightly parted lips.
Everything black.
Soul transcends and ascends toward the warm sun.
Vultures devour the fresh sensitive skin,
as the hair is tickled by the humor of the wind.
Brown eyes, glazed, pecked at by vultures;
searching to steal the memories of the mind.
Blood trickles down beaks in its escaping fury from the body.
Soft feathers rub against the lips; caressing.
Vultures steal the last breath.
Rejoicing in the sweetness of death; of darkness.
Their own personal beauty.

Autumn Metamorphosis
by: April Rameé
Leaves change and fall
Hearts break and split
People lose hope
As the weather turns from sunshine to rain
Those we love break down and die
With the autumn changes
Tears flow and memories of summer fade
The bittersweet beauty of autumn
Rings hard in the collective unconsciousness
Calling us to reflection
Cementing truths unbreakable
Impermanence rains supreme
Bow down to nature
For no matter where you are
Concrete jungle to remote landscapes
You are one with Mother Earth
Change is all around. Echoing loud and demanding our attention and my sensitive heart is picking up on the metamorphosis. The changes for me this autumn are demanding and dragging my soul through the depths of deep still water. The large beast is gliding through the waters deeper than I knew existed. I consider myself a deep-sea diver of emotions but when the smallest air bubble makes it to the surface of my still soul, I take notice. Some how my still lake has a waterfall. Bubbles rushing to the surface create agitation and rapids form. Reaching to the peak the tears rush to the surface and flow as strong as Angel Falls, the fluid tears only angels manifest. Releasing energy strong enough to power a nation for countless years. Only the deep water within has the ability to carve into my mountainous dreams, body, and all earthly desires. I hear your scream Mother Earth! I am here to serve. I give up my dreams and surrender to the overwhelming call of your siren. Take me gently into your arms as I discover the beast deep within. Mother Earth, together we can guide the beast over the falls. Falling silently cradled in the sweet deathly demise winter invokes with coldness and death, freezing water, and restoring stillness to my heart.

What did I learn about myself today?
I randomly asked myself this evening after a day full of precarious emotions. I notice that I am impervious to the changes of my emotion. I wonder if I really change that often or am I just so aware of the slightest change that I live in dualities. Chalk it up to being observant. I wander around a significant amount of the time observing and taking in the abundance of life swirling around my body. I look wide-eyed and mystified at the world above, below, and around creating enchanting thoughts and beautiful day dreams.
I live for the daydreams.
I live within the daydreams.
I am the daydream.
Times of fancy and whimsy, dancing and turning. The world buzzing by in colors melted reminding me of crayons blending in the oven creating a mega-crayon full of possibility. The promise of a creation that creates a rainbow smiling in the sun. Upside down rainbows. “Nothing like being upside down to help you feel right side up,” I always say.
I learned today whimsy and joy creates my attachment. What is yours?
